Say, ‘All praise belongs to Allah, and Peace be to the servants whom He has chosen.’ Is Allah better, or the partners they ascribe [to Him]?
Is He who created the heavens and the earth, and sends down for you water from the sky, whereby We grow delightful gardens, whose trees you could never cause to grow...? What! Is there a god besides Allah? Indeed, they are a lot who equate [others with Allah].
Is He who made the earth an abode [for you], and made rivers [flowing] through it, and set firm mountains for it [’s stability], and set a barrier between the two seas...? What! Is there a god besides Allah? Indeed, most of them do not know.
Is He who answers the call of the distressed [person] when he invokes Him and removes his distress, and makes you successors on the earth...? What! Is there a god besides Allah? Little is the admonition that you take.
Is He who guides you in the darkness of land and sea and who sends the winds as harbingers of His mercy...? What! Is there a god besides Allah? Exalted is Allah above [having] any partners that they ascribe [to Him].
Is He who originates the creation, then He will bring it back, and who provides for you from the sky and the earth...? What! Is there a god besides Allah? Say, ‘Produce your evidence, if you are truthful.’
Say, ‘No one in the heavens or the earth knows the Unseen except Allah, and they are not aware when they will be resurrected.’
Do they comprehend the knowledge of the Hereafter? No, they are in doubt about it. Indeed, they are blind to it.

Triangulated from: enlightening_commentary, tabatabai_al_mizan, tabarsi_majma_al_bayan, tusi_al_tibyan, bahrani_al_burhan (narrations), and qummi. All six sources are present; none is silent.
Human-review flags: bahrani_al_burhan — the al-muḍṭarr=Qāʾim narrations and the several near-identical 'ʿAlī trembled like a sparrow' reports are rendered as-attributed and, where parallel, summarized after full renderings.
The passage pivots from narrative to argument: a command to praise God and salute His chosen servants, and the challenge is God better, or what they associate? (59); then the great tawḥīd chain — five am-man ('is it He who…?') strophes on creation, the settled earth, the answered distressed one, guidance in the darknesses, and origination-and-provision, each capped is there a god with God? (60–64); the demand bring your proof and the declaration that none knows the unseen but God (65); and the unbelievers' resurrection-denial when we are dust… fables of the ancients (66).
The chosen servants (59). A telling divergence of register. al-Ṭabarsī [tabarsi_majma_al_bayan] lists the classical range (the prophets; the Companions; Muhammad's community; his Family), while Tafsīr al-Qummī [qummi] and al-Baḥrānī [bahrani_al_burhan] fix it as the Family of Muhammad. al-Ṭabāṭabāʾī [tabatabai_al_mizan] adjudicates: the context makes it the prophets honored with the iṣṭifāʾ, and the Imāmī narration naming the Family is jary wa-taṭbīq — application, not restriction.
The distressed one (62). The interpretive high point. All four Arabic sources gloss al-muḍṭarr as the hard-pressed caller whom God alone answers; al-Ṭabāṭabāʾī builds a substantial theology of duʿāʾ — the true call is one cut off from all secondary causes and attached to God alone, and it never fails of an answer — explicitly rebutting attempts to narrow the verse. Tafsīr al-Qummī and al-Baḥrānī carry the Imāmī taʾwīl that al-muḍṭarr is the Qāʾim/Mahdī praying at the Maqām — al-Baḥrānī amassing parallel reports (from al-Ṣādiq, al-Bāqir and al-Nuʿmānī), which al-Qummī itself frames as 'interpretation after revelation' and al-Ṭabāṭabāʾī as application to a general verse.
Successors of the earth (62). al-Baḥrānī's cluster of 'ʿAlī trembled like a sparrow' narrations reads yajʿalukum khulafāʾa l-arḍ messianically; al-Ṭabāṭabāʾī reads it as the God-given earthly vicegerency of every human [2:30], and in the baḥth riwāʾī critiques a Sunnī narration (via ʿĀʾisha/Masrūq lineage of reports) that would make it political obedience owed even to a wrongdoer.
The unseen and the Return (65–66). al-Baḥrānī uniquely carries the Mahdī's tawqīʿ refuting the ghulāt — we are not His partners in knowledge — citing this very verse; al-Ṭabāṭabāʾī notes the verse denies only independent knowledge of the unseen, not knowledge God grants [72:26–27]. On bal iddāraka ʿilmuhum (66), al-Ṭabarsī and al-Ṭūsī rehearse the dense qirāʾāt (adraka / iddāraka / interrogative), and al-Ṭabāṭabāʾī gives the elegant three-tier reading of the ascending bal…bal…bal: no knowledge, then doubt, then heart-blindness. The published enlightening_commentary [enlightening_commentary] presents the tawḥīd chain devotionally.
